1921 Hendey Lathe

Winter came and I needed a project (yea, right!), and REALLY
needed a bigger lather in my shop. So, off to ebay I went...

She didn't look like much on ebay, but then they weren't asking much either.
Hmmm, don't look any better after 7 hours of scrubbing...
5 Speed Dodge Dakota 4X4. Some more scrubbing, a little paint, and lets put the transmission right about here...
$28.00 Brand new 5 hp 3 phase motor, (ebay again, tee hee) Engine cage with transmission, motor, and clutch.
Engine cage nearly complete. Note the spare belt installed when the spindle went in. One in a while I get a good idea...
