Hendeys are like Harleys...
They both have six letters
They both have two sylables
They both start with H and end with Y
They're both American classics
They both leak oil all over the floor!

Ok, well maybe not that last part, not on my Harley anyway...
And not the Hendey either!

I installed one shot oiling in the headstock and put in drip catchers under the qc box and saddle.

I also have sight levels on the spindles, so no overfilling, or worse, underfilling the reservoirs.

With ten places to oil the headstock, this was a must.

The oiler is from the Enco sale flyer, and holds about a pint. Just squash it with you foot.

You cannot get to the spindle plugs after you enclose the headstock, and who would want to anyway. This milkhouse tubing attaches to the drains. You check the oil here as well as add oil. Remove the front plugs one time to establish the proper oil levels.

Be sure to enclose the front one in 1/2" copper tubing, so a stray chip doesn't cut the line.
